While at this year's Sundance Film Festival, actors Jack Reynor and Logan Lerman spoke to MTV News about the magnitude of stepping into Harrison Ford's shoes to play Han Solo. "We’re talking about Harrison Ford. He’s no chump," said Reynor. He added, "You can’t do an imitation. You can’t try and just emulate what that is. It’s got to be something new. It’s also got to be something that the audience is going to respond to, [it] "would be kind of an incredible gig to get."
Logan Lerman apparently has no fear. "I don’t think I’d be intimidated. It would just be fun."
Which do you think is the proper approach to playing Han Solo - cocky or reverent? Should the actor try to replicate Harrison Ford or put his own spin on Solo? Phil Lord and Chris Miller direct the picture which currently has a January 2017 release date. Casting is currently underway this early because it is widely believed that whomever is cast will appear in Rogue One: A Star Wars story.
