Hilarious STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Cartoon Remakes The Movie And Gives Fans What They Wanted

Star Wars: The Last Jedi was a controversial movie due to many of the decisions which were made by writer and director Rian Johnson and some particularly angry fans have since started campaigning to remake the movie. They've even attempted to raise some funds to make that happen (with zero luck) and now a new cartoon reveals what that might ultimately wind up looking like if it were to happen.

As you can see below, those angry fans get everything they wanted, including some
big reveals - which play out exactly as nearly everyone wrongly predicted they would - and the female cast being put on the backburner as we learn that Finn is Force Sensitive too. We won't say more as you need to check it out for yourselves but it does a great job of poking fun at all of those seemingly endless complaints.

Do you think this "remake" of Star Wars: The Last Jedi is better than the version which hit
theaters last December? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section below.

@NOVAtheSUPA - You won't catch me defending it lol. I'm not a Star Wars fan at all and I found the movie really boring.

@BlindWedjat @NOVAtheSUPA - Agree, fans are stupid and support trash films too. They watch shit movies like Minions and Suicide Squad, then let great films like Blade Runner 2049 and War for the planet of the apes flop.

There are going to be stupid people trashing this film, but movies are supposed to be subjective and make you think. Some people just want the same shit with a little change. while others want drastic changes.

This is one of those things that is either too stupid for words or just not funny enough for its premise. If it’s trying to make a point, it’s beating a dead horse with enough snark to kill two more horses. If it’s just trying to be funny, good try, but it’s over kill. There’s absolutely zero subtlety to internet comedy’s anymore.

I’ll let other pick apart the thing apart piece by piece.

I’ve seen it on two different websites before this and haven’t commented but this is all the time it’s getting from me.

@jjk2814 - The problem is that all of the jokes made are too easy and obvious. It's not "trying too hard", it's not trying hard enough.

I hated TLJ - I didn't want any of these things to happen.

I'm sure my 50-year-old mother - who hardly cares about Star Wars and whose internet-ability is limited to Facebook - was constantly keeping up on the latest Plagueis theories, hence her disappointment. I'm sure she didn't like Rey's arc or Rose and Holdo solely because they're women. Yeah, total sense.

@Nebula - This is more on the people trying to remake The Last Jedi who seriously DO want these changes.
Nebula

@Origame - See, why would you think they want these changes either?
Origame
Origame - 7/30/2018, 5:15 AM
@Nebula - ...because that's what they said they wanted in their pitch for the movie. Less female characters, Luke being a hero, a big reveal for both Rey and Snoke, etc.
Nebula
Nebula - 7/30/2018, 5:18 AM
@Origame - No, it doesn't - not in the slightest. https://www.remakethelastjedi.com/
Origame
Origame - 7/30/2018, 5:25 AM
@Nebula - ...you do realize this has just a vague concept of how bad the original is and nothing for what they want to do with the movie other than remake it right?

@Origame - Don't feed it. Leave it under the bridge.

Philvis
Philvis - 7/30/2018, 7:48 AM
@Origame - I call BS. This is just the fantasy based narrative that the pro-TLJ folks is pushing out trying to discredit the very large number of fans who did not like TLJ. "Let's continue to mock those who did not like TLJ in an attempt to make them look like bigots, misogynistic, etc."
Origame
Origame - 7/30/2018, 11:03 AM
@AngryCipher - That's just a joke since Darth Plagius, who so many wanted Snoke to be, makes no sense based on lore since he's very much dead.
Origame
Origame - 7/30/2018, 11:08 AM
@Philvis - There are seriously several people who have an unnatural hatred for Rey (even stating that it's because they don't like her being female), that Luke wasn't the perfect badass who instantly went out of hiding to save the day, and that Snoke wasn't revealed to be someone who has no relevance to the characters in question.

Look, as someone who found TLJ to be a good film, I'm in total support of you utterly hating it. That's your right and if i'm being honest, there are plenty of issues so i totally get not liking it. We are not insulting you. We are insulting the vocal minority who don't want the franchise to change and grow. THOSE are the ones who are toxic to the fan community.
SethBullock
SethBullock - 7/30/2018, 11:15 PM
@Origame - I wanted the franchise to change (no more sh*tty dumb remakes like TFA) and grow, but TLJ was garbage and I hope Episode IX bombs hard.

I’m not really a Star Wars guy, in fact Rey is the only character I’ve really enjoyed in the franchise and Solo was my favourite movie so far. But I gotta say, The Last Jedi wasn’t good. Well, that’s not true. It was a good movie in and of itself. But a TERRIBLE sequel to The Force Awakens. Every thread they opened up in TFA went unanswered or was dropped with a thud. The returning original characters felt unnecessary and their arcs were lame. And the things that didn’t work in the first film (Kylo Ren, Emo Lord) were given a bigger role but still no backstory that justified it. Why was this kid so dark and naughty in the first place? What was his childhood? His relationship with his parents? He’s been a shit since before Luke almost killed him but we have no idea why? So why should we care?

The Force Awakens introduced great characters, and hit the tone and look perfectly. But it had no story, themes or character arcs for us to care about. It was on the middle chapter to give it those things. And it didn’t bring any of them.

I honestly like the last Jedi the more times I watch it. There are still glaring flaws in the movie, but over all I enjoy the story they tried to tell. I think that Rian definitely should have had a co-writer to fix the more obviously bad parts of the movie. Actually I feel like they could have cut the movie down from 2 hours 30 mins to just 2 hours. And I don't mean anything like cut out the women. I mean cut out the comedy that practically everyone found uncomfortable and not funny. No Poe Dameron prank calling Hux and turning Hux into a complete SNL parody of himself, no milking alien titties, no chewbacca vegetarian guilt trip, cut down the jedi island care taker comedy bits, cut out Rey literally reaching out for the force bit, down cut out but streamline the Canto Bite scenes so that side quest feels fast paced and not so dragged out, and the most controversial would likely be leaving Leia dead after she was sucked out into space when the bridge exploded. I think that scene was heart breaking and shocking, but that could and sad feeling is immediately swiped away by Leia Poppins Supermaning her popsicle corpse back to the ship. How ANYONE approved that scene is beyond me. Killing Leia would have given Carrie Fisher and the character of Leia an epic ending and one that would break out hearts more than the death of Han Solo and given Holdo the part Carrie was to have in the final episode as the new leader of the resistance. But most of the cuts I want are the "comedy". Look, I know humor is subjective, but I cringe at those bits and it gets worse each time I watch the last Jedi. But aside from that stuff, I've grown to really like Luke's arc, Rey and Kylos bonding, the stuff after Canto with DJ, Rose and Finn, and even the Poe and Holdo stuff. I'm even fine with the 2 biggest disappointments of Rey being nobody and Snoke going out like a useless punk bitch with no relevant back story. There is a phenomenal movie in The Last Jedi, but it does need some retooling in my opinion.
