MARVEL Set To Remaster The STAR WARS 1977 Miniseries As A Graphic Novel

The 1977 Star Wars mini-series that was written by Roy Thomas and illustrated by Howard Chaykin will be remastered by Marvel Comics and made into a newly improved graphic novel. Hit the jump to check out the first piece of remastered art!

Marvel Comics announced that they will remaster the 1977 Star Wars mini-series that was written by Roy Thomas. These editions will be recolored by Chris Sotomayor, and new cover art will be created by Adi Granov. You can check out one of the new covers below!


 
Marvel says that this remastered graphic novel will include new scenes that were never in the original comic or the film. They also revealed that they are going to be remastering the Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back miniseries, and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi miniseries.
