If it'll be anything like Clone Wars, I'm in. After watching it on Netflix, it got much better as time went on and they learned their mistakes. Disney may try to tone it down which will suck.

@RodimusPryme It's amazing the things they can get away with in animations LOL.

Why not a live-action SW show on ABC called 'Rebels'? Instead, we get some bastardized fantasy with Prince Charming, giant dwarves, and Snow White...oh and some sort of Wicked Witch...Dammit, Disney, a live-action SW show would rock the charts!

Looks...okay.

I really hope it keeps it mostly serious like The Clone Wars.

Still holding out it's going to be the Star Wars version of Firefly...

Not writing it off but oh boy that animation was really bouncy, like kids movie bouncy. Thanks Disney.

@Saintsinnister

Aside from Yoda and Kenobi all of the Jedi were wiped out by the Sith Lord and the clone troopers during 'order 66'.

Except well...all the other overlooked Jedi when a new series or game is needed.

Same old flippant attitude to characterization and humor. Kids stuff, no serious drama intent to be seen left, right or center.

Call me when BioWare start making Star Wars films without any George Lucas or Disney involvement.

Looks like a Disneyfied Clone Wars.
I love CW but I'm reserving judgement on this.

This... looks bad. This seems like a cheap "kiddie" ripoff of TCW. If this is any inclination of the show's style I shudder to think of how they will portray the Inquisitor. All I can picture is an "Oh drat! Foiled again by you meddling kids & your silly droid too!" villain. Good grief.

I have really high hopes for this, but the awkward animation & goofy, Disney theme in this clip is totally throwing me off. Maybe I'm in for a pleasant surprise & it will be amazing.

*please don't be trash, please don't be trash, please don't be trash*

Child-friendly rubbish. StarWars needs to be taken seriously again and continue to be an exercise in marketing new characters for the purposes of selling toys.
Get the lightsabers out and start chopping some limbs off.

PS: the new Sith inquisitor character with the obligatory newly unique style of lightaber (lame) is not scary at all. Childish Disney marketeers steering the course of future StarWars.

@Dandy

I know, & that's the only part that gives me hope.

What I meant by ripoff is that the animation, effects, & sound seem cheap & sort off "dollar store knockoff" to me. I watched that clip several times & could barely even stand it due to how low-budget it seemed to me. It reminded me of those shows that Nickelodeon plays. You know, the spin-off shows for practically EVERY Dreamworks movie that comes out. They always seem cheap & cheesy to me.

Maybe that's there thing though. Since it's set closer to the OT era maybe they are trying to do it as a homage... I wish they wouldn't though. But that's just my opinion.
