New STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Character Images Provide Our First Look At Supreme Leader Snoke In The Flesh

Snoke was introduced via a holographic image in The Force Awakens, but now a new batch of character photos from Star Wars: The Last Jedi reveal the villain's true form, and it's not a pretty sight...

Some new Star Wars: The Last Jedi character images have surfaced on Imagur (via MakingStarWars.net), and in addition to fresh looks at the likes of Luke, Rey, Finn, and the Praetorian Guards, we get to see Supreme Leader Snoke in his true form.

Snoke only appeared in The Force Awakens as a giant hologram, but here we see him in the flesh, and it's clear that he is - or rather, was - a humanoid of some description. Will we find out how he incurred those horrific facial injuries in this movie? Well, director Rian Johnson has told fans not to expect the enigmatic baddie's backstory to be touched upon in The Last Jedi, so it's unlikely.

Have a look through the images below, and be sure to share your theories with us in the comments section.

It doens't look like it. He's probably near-human. Most of the newer novels, stories, ETC, seem to hint that Snoke is somehow tied to the unknown regions of space from outside the Star Wars galaxy.

PLOT TWIST: Snoke is actually in his early twenties, but looks older due to smoking.

@Darkknight2149 - He looks a bit like a citizen of Kamino. Maybe they are clones created from his gene pool?

@Kr08 - I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.
