Possible Details On The New STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKEN Trailer

The next trailer for J.J. Abrams Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to premiere during the Star Wars Celebration next week, and now some possible details on the trailer has landed online. Hit the jump to check it out.

The second trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to premiere at the Star Wars Celebration next week, and ahead of the premiere, the site MakingStarWars.net, has revealed some potential details on what we can expect to see in the trailer.

The trailer is rumored to be just under 2 minutes, will feature Han Solo, Leia, C-3PO and R2-D2, and will offer offer us our first look at Kylo Ren’s (Adam Driver) face. The trailer is also said to show John Boyega as Finn wielding a blue lightsaber, along with a brief shot of the chrome Stormtrooper played by Gwendoline Christie.


  • The teaser runs at about a one minute and fifty seconds, just under two minutes.
  • Han, Leia, Artoo and Threepio We do see Yavin in the teaser.?
  • We see a shot of Finn with a blue lightsaber.
  • There is a shot of Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), the chrome Stormtrooper, very briefly.
  • We do see Kylo Ren’s helmeted face.
  • We see Poe Dameron shoot down a TIE fighter.
  • A shot of Finn and Poe walking past one another at the base.
  • Rey is in a few shots.
  • There is a shot of Poe Dameron, Artoo-Detoo, See-Threepio, and a CGI character (Rose).
  • BB-8 socketed in the back of an X-wing.
  • Kylo Ren’s Imperial shuttle flys by with TIE escorts to the Star Destroyer
  • Star Destroyer(s)
  • The Falcon X-wing fighters flying in a V-shape formation.
  • Darth Vader’s helmet sitting on a podium.
  • no Serkis.
  • No Luke.

Honestly this doesn't sound too exciting. I get the 'world' they're building. I want them to start giving us elements of the plot in more concrete form. We don't need this being like Into Darkness where JJ tries to keep all plot points close to his chest to the point of frustration.
