Let's be honest. Nobody was asking for a prequel story chronicling the early years of Han Solo. Nobody! But Disney is out to make some serious bucks and continues to prove it doesn't need to do anything overly bold or step outside of the current established storyline to get us to rock up to the cinemas. That is exactly the case with Solo: A Star Wars Story the latest anthology film in the Star Wars franchise.
From its lack lustra reception upon its announcement, to everybody hating Aldin Ehrenreich getting the role of Han and then the directors leaving and rumors circling about how terrible the intial footage was, it was no wonder everyone was skeptical about Solo. Ron Howard steps into direct and practically redoes the whole movie and then we start getting trailers and you know what, we thought they looked pretty good and very Star Wars. Skip forward to its release and feelings were mixed. Some people thought it was great others not so much. when we came out of watching Solo we had a few things to say about it. Mostly good though there are some notable misgivings, that said it was far better then we ever expected it to be.

RECASTS- This is where I take a new release movie and shift its release date by a decade or two and RECAST the movie with actors from that time.I also talk a bit about how I think the film would have looked and felt during that era and discuss who might have directed the movie and why.
5 THINGS STILL GREAT ABOUT- This is a new segment looking back at videos game of old and instead of reviewing them and pulling them apart for their dated graphics and game play, instead I look at what is STILL GREAT about the game. Fun, light-hearted and hopefully gets you looking at older games in a new light.
