Unveiled at the 2012 Toy Fair, Hasbro has confirmed plans for the release of a new Jar Jar Binks action figure. The best part? The much despised CGI character is frozen in Carbonite! "Yipe! How wude!"

Thanks to IGN Movies we have a first look at Hasbro's latest Jar Jar Binks action figure - the twist being that he's frozen in Carbonite, a la Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back. As possibly THE most hated character in the Star Wars universe after his debut in The Phantom Menace, this is sure to make many a fan of the franchise very happy indeed. Unfortunately, it will only be available exclusively at this year's San Diego Comic Con!

I literally just finished watching Thor less than half an hour ago. Darcy was a little bit annoying, but nowhere near the atrocity that was Jar Jar Binks.

You can find Jar Jar in the first Force Unleashed game frozen in carbonite. He's in that Ozzik Sturn guys trophy room.

And an entire CGI alien Race....come one what was Lucas thinking. CGI alien Race VS CGI Droids plus a CGI space fight. The whole movie lost the believability of the original trilogy.

@Boyle360 Agreed. She was nowhere near the level of annoying Jar Jar was. Any scene Jar Jar Binks was in literally ruined the movie. Darcy served her purpose as being a bridge between teenagers to the story of Thor, whereas Jar Jar failed as being the bridge between children and Star Wars. (Trust me, I clearly remember the negative feedback amongst my peers when TPM first released. Even as a kid it was painfully obvious how much better the original trilogy was compared to the new trilogy.) Plus, it was pretty humorous when Darcy tried to pronounce "Mjolnir".

I remembered hating the new trilogy. But I remembered hating this jackass Binks even more. Ruined the already shitty TPM even as a little kid when I saw it in the theater I hated him

You have now solidified my plans with this action figure. I'm telling my spouse and kids today that we're taking a nice vacation to San Diego. You know, see the zoo, visit some naval ships, stroll through an amusement park. Little will they know my real motive except that I have brought their Halloween costumes from last year in my suitcase.
