Sound off below with your thoughts.

Star Wars Rebels is an animated series produced by Lucasfilm and Lucasfilm Animation. Set 14 years after Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and 5 years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Rebels takes place during an era when the Galactic Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights while a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking form. The visual style of Star Wars Rebels is heavily inspired by the original Star Wars trilogy concept art by Ralph McQuarrie.

No possible way it can be better then Clone Wars. That was storytelling at its finest. And has beautiful animation. Must have cost a fortune to produce.

Watched it yesterday, it was very cool. It has the same tone of the classic trilogy, especially episode IV.

ofcourse. It takes alot of time to animate these shows. The team behind it have to know if it gets a second season or not! didnt it take the clone wars team about 1-2 years to get the first season made before even airing the first episode? something like that anyway...

great news.

The first episode had it's moments, I suppose, but damn those wookiees reminded me of the Holiday Special... just horrible.
