STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI's Carrie Fisher Once Sent A Cow Tongue To A Producer Who Assaulted Her Friend
As if anyone needed more evidence of the late Carrie Fisher's legend status, a new story has emerged involving the Star Wars: The Last Jedi actress bravely standing up to a sleazy Hollywood producer...
As more and more allegations of sexual assault continue to be leveled at Harvey Weinstein, more women are coming forward to bravely share their stories.
Author and screenwriter Heather Ross called in to 94.9 MixFM in Tucson and relayed a story about how an unnamed Sony executive harassed her in 2000. Ross later told a good friend what happened, and unfortunately for the aforementioned sleazebag exec, that friend was the legendary Carrie Fisher.
“About two weeks later, [Carrie] sent me a message online and she said, ‘I just saw (blank) at Sony Studios. I knew he would probably be there, so I went to his office and personally delivered a Tiffany box wrapped with a white bow.’” Ross explained. “I asked her what was inside and she said, ‘It was a cow tongue from Jerry’s Famous Deli with a note that said, If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be (clears throat) something of yours in a much smaller box!’”
