Fans upset with the decisions made by Rian Johnson in Star Wars: The Last Jedi have taken to Rotten Tomatoes to tear into the movie but does the CinemaScore from moviegoers tell the same sort of story?
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now in theaters (not that you'll need us to tell you; you should have seen it at least twice by now) and that means the sequel's CinemaScore has been revealed. For those of you unaware of what that is, it's the scoring method - ranging from A+ to F - which is used to gauge a reaction from moviegoers immediately after they've left a screening. Studios pay close attention to them and they're often used to figure out how much word of mouth is having on the box office.
Well, the CinemaScore for The Last Jedi has been revealed and it's received an impressive A grade!
This tells a very different story to Rotten Tomatoes where 57% of fans have decided they like the movie and it has an average rating of 3.3/5 based on 92,034 reviews. Are those genuine scores or angry fanboys tearing into a movie which didn't match their expectations and countless fan theories?
