STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER "Special Look" Will Give You All The Chills And Reveals Hidden Cameos

There was no sign of Lucasfilm at this year's Comic-Con and that meant we didn't get one of those amazing, chill-inducing behind the scenes looks at Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Well, a "Special Look" has now been released which will definitely get you excited for what's to come this December. Looking back at the impact the franchise has had on fans and pop culture, it also includes plenty of behind the scenes images as we learn that the likes of singer Ed Sheeran and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will both make cameo appearances in Episode IX

All eyes are on director J.J. Abrams to deliver a satisfying finale to the "Skywalker Saga," and while it's inevitable that not everyone will be happy with the way the story ends, it definitely feels like the franchise is in safe hands (we recently learned it was Abrams who brought The Emperor back).

In other Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker news, we also have a newly revealed image from the movie which shows Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron together and seemingly ready for a fight!

This was actually pretty cool though. Young Mark Hamill was a nice surprise.

This plays a bit to much on nostalgia in my opinion. Not that it is a bad thing, but they really show minimum from the original and prequel trilogy here. I’m incredibly stoked for IX, but I just don’t like how Disney plays on the sequel trilogy like it’s the only Star Wars out there right now

Of course they're playing on older fan's nostalgia; very few people are emotionally invested in these new characters.

@Feralwookiee - The lack of development didn't exactly help anyone care for the new characters. There is part of the problem.

@Imfunnyhow - Yeah. I gave TFA a chance, against my better judgement. I've been done with the series since. Having grown up with the original films as a kid of the 70's it's pretty painful for me to see the tragectory this whole thing has taken.

Star Wars has always been this strange mix for me of the coolest things in the world wrapped up in a package of the dorkiest things in the world. But I’m also aware the the dorky lame stuff is the stuff that gives it heart and it wouldn’t work without it. But lightsabers, telekinetic powers and Darth Vader? Badass.
