A source for
John Williams Fan Network (via
JediNews) is claiming that John Williams ("Superman") has composed original music for the first
Star Wars: Episode VII trailer. That new
Star Wars music will supposedly be recorded during the middle of next month. Most importantly, is that they claim J.J. Abrams has already delivered a finished trailer.
A reliable source just said JW received a trailer from JJ Abrams on Monday, Oct 20. JW has already written new Star Wars music to accompany this trailer. This new trailer music will feature new music and will be recorded on November 15 in LA with full orchestra. Still determining if the score will be recorded in London due to advanced age of composer/conductor. 14 hour flight to LA not too kind on 82 year old. This is all a secret and this message will be deleted shortly.
Then
Peter Sciretta posted an article with the above information and added: "Now, we at /Film headquarters had heard rumblings outside of that story about the
Star Wars 7 teaser trailer maybe coming out this year." He followed that up with the tweet below.
So, which film will receive the bump in attendance from having the first
Star Wars VII trailer attached to it? Well,
Disney only has one more big film coming out after November 15 and that would be the musical,
Into The Woods. That'd be an odd pairing, but the film could certainly use the extra eyes, even though most will leave after the trailers are shown. Of course, the trailer could end up being attached to a non-Disney film. What do you think?
Star Wars: Episode VII - Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, David Oyelowow, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film. It's being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on
December 18, 2015.
