Someone wouldn't mind returning to the world of Star Wars in the future, and could it be possible?

I know this is somewhat old news, but I've only seen it mentioned on the internet recently:

There’s one person who’d love to return to the world of Star Wars, if presented with the opportunity. Can you guess who?

That’s right: Hayden Christensen.

During an appearance on the Canadian entertainment news show etalk from sometime around September last year, Hayden Christensen said that he’d be open to returning as Anakin Skywalker in a new Star Wars film as either a force ghost, flashback, or something similar if they asked him to. This is, despite retiring from Hollywood films years ago. “Absolutely… … if they ever gave me the call, I would sign up in a heartbeat.” “Being a part of that world was a huge deal for me, and was a good four/five years of my life. I have fond memories and good friendships from that whole time.” Christensen then proceeded to talk about what he thought of the franchises current ‘revival’, and said that he was excited to see what direction it was going. “I’m keeping my tabs on it. They sort of keep me abreast a little bit of what’s going on.”

“They sort of keep me abreast a little bit of what’s going on.” Does this mean that Hayden Christensen is still in some form of contact with Lucasfilm for a potential future return?
We do know that at one point in The Force Awakens, Anakin was being considered as coming back in the form of a unique force ghost; one who could embody the light and the dark.

And with rumours floating around that an Anakin force ghost could appear in Star Wars episode 8, or his crippled body in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, only time will tell.
