We still don't know whether we'll ever get a Star Wars Anthology movie starring 'Boba Fett', but this fan-made trailer should leave you intruiged by the prospect at the very least. From director Eric Demeusy (and courtesy of Film School Rejects), it depicts the fan favorite bounty hunter emerging from the clutches of the Sarlacc, and recovering his old ship from the sands of Tatooine.

Titled
Star Wars: The New Republic Anthology, the clip demonstrates remarkable production value, costumes and visual effects - far superior to many other fan films of its kind. Perhaps it will convince Disney/Lucasfilm to continue pushing for that elusive Boba Fett spin-off (which was rumored to be the Star Wars movie Fant4stic director Josh Trank was set to helm). Regardless, it's worth a watch!

What did you think of the trailer? Do you think there's potential in a solo movie centered around Fett, or does he work better in a supporting role? Be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments!

After being trapped for 30 years in the Great Pit of Carkoon, infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett makes a death defying escape and finds himself fighting alongside the Rebellion to establish a New Republic.

In all seriousness tho...That was actually good...though the suit was...Eh? If not for the suit, some one could have passed this off as a real Star Wars teaser. Lol.

Doesn't real show anything other than that Fett survived the Sarlaac. However, the CGI and effort put into this short clip is very well done for a fan made piece.

Why spend time, energy and MONEY creating a promo for Disney? Subservient mentality? The desire to be a corporation's bitch? Just plain fvcking dumb?

That is not a trailer. It is a scene. They and you can call it a trailer if you'd like, but that doesn't make it one.

That was pretty f*ckin cool for a FAN MADE TEASER,Boba Fett may not have done much in the original trilogy but his personality & design was the best/coolest/bad ass looking out of everyone.

Don't care what fools think or say,Boba Fett is a badass.
He looks cool & acts cool & only was TEMPORARILY stopped but a sheer accident.
That accidental damage done to his jet pack by the luckiest guy in the galaxy..Han Solo.
Blind Solo by sheer chance hit that pack & sent Fett into the pit.
Solo is cool because he's charming & lucky but Boba is covered in weapons & gear,he can easily get free of the Sarlacc.
Look out haters..The Best Bounty Hunter Is Back!!

I don't know of any Star Wars fans who don't like Boba Fett. For a character who only had a handful of scenes in the original trilogy, he certainly has made an impact. Since his original appearance he has been included and expanded upon in the Star Wars novels, comics, video games and Lucas even made a horrible half ass attempt to give him a back story and history in the newer trilogy. Now that Star Wars is back, I hope we get to see much more of the Fett in future installments. Hopefully they will integrate his character in the new Disney trilogy and make him more of a main character.
