Yeah, I have got to agree with @Scorpion8125 on this one. The idea of a Han Solo origin movie makes me gag, and I can only imagine whatever other cash grab garbage they will come up with.

The Old Republic is all that we need.

I cannot comprehend why would they change Star Wars Anthology to "A Star Wars Story".

@nibs I dont get you guys. Its the same with Reboots. If there are this amazing universes and characters out there, why is it wrong to want to see more of them? Explore the differen aspects of them? As long as they create new and original characters, planets and stories, i hope i see new Star Wars movies until i die. There is just too much to explore. I admit though that there are moviea that can be amazing and movies that cant.

As for Episode VII,I really would have loved to see Rey Solo as the Jedi instead of Finn. I would have liked the story to go like this:

-There is a prophecy that a male Descendant/Heir of Vader will be responsible for awakening the Dark Side once more (or something like that).

-Beliving it is going to be him, Luke goes on exile.

-Twins Rey and Kylo Solo are born. Beliving the Galactic Council will kill/imprison Kylo, Han and Leia decide to hide him. They keep secret the fact that he is their son, and give him to the Jedis to train him.

-In Episode VII, Rey finds Luke, who tells her about the Prophecy. The audience is led to belive that the Prophecy really was about Luke, who was unintentionally responsible for the creation of the Knights of Ren.

-In Episode VIII Kylo Ren reveals to Rey the whole story and that he is her brother, paying tribute to the Vader revelation in Episode V.

Side Note: I really want Kylo's motivations for joining the Knights of Ren to make sense.

The old guys will only be in TFA for 10 minutes. A Bobba Fett movie IS something we have not seen at all. The Han Solo movie doesnt completely convince me either though.

You even said it yourself: "There is just too much to explore." There is so much to explore. A literal universe that spans millennia. So why the hell would they just do a story about young Han?

I agree with Scorpion, no imagination here at all. Cash grab.

Well, maybe because he is a f*cking awesome character. I want to see more of him. They could show some incredible stories about smugglers and bounyhunters and space pirates, thats a whole aspect of the SW universe that hasnt been fully explored. Besides, fans have been begging to see this spinoff so it is not for the money, it is really something that people want to see.

What doesnt convince me though is that we will already have a movie withe the same concept, Bobba Fett, and that it will never be the same with a different actor for Han.

Personnally they should just keep the the Episodes for the Skywalker timeline and use the anthologies/side lide stories for the old republic... i'm not that interested spineoff of Han Solo or BobaFett..

I really want the Old Republic on big screen!
