Will Next STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Trailer Include Han, Luke & Leia?

Multiple sources for multiple websites are all in agreement that the second trailer for J.J. Abram's Star Wars: The Force Awakens will debut with Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age Of Ultron, but they don't all agree on appearances for Luke, Han and Leia.

After the 88-second teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awaken was released some fans complained because the footage only showcased the franchise' new blood instead of classic characters like Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher). In time, Oscar Isaac's 'Poe Dameron,' Daisy Ridley's 'Rey,' and John Boyega's 'Finn' could become household names as Han, Luke and Leia are, but as of right now they're just funny looking names that we quabble over pronuciation.

With that first trailer out of the way we of course look forward to the next one. But, when will it arrive? Looks like everyone will have to keep their anticipation in check until May. That is when Marvel's soon-to-be blockbuster, Avengers: Age Of Ultron is released. Disney, who owns Marvel, will definitely want to attached a Star Wars trailer to Avengers 2 as their Star Wars target audience will see it... which is everyone!

Every site is in agreement on when the second trailer will be deployed, but they're not all in agreement on the trailer's content. In the past two days, Latino-Review reported that
the second trailer will provide us with our first look at Luke, Han, Leia, and even Chewbacca. While Germain Lussier of Slash Film has heard the opposite from his sources. "We SPECIFICALLY heard the original cast WON'T be featured in the marketing," Lussier tweeted. "I heard they want to keep their roles a surprise, and the series isn't about them anymore." Sources for comicbook.com are in agreement with Lussier's report.

Could we really have a second trailer without the classic heroes? Seems almost unthinkable. Would that bother you? Or, are you looking forward to embracing the newcomers?

Star Wars: Episode VII - Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film. It's being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.

I honestly don't care what they show in the new trailer, as long as it's new footage.

It would be idiotic for them not to include them in the marketing

I can promise you, the day we see what the OG cast looks like would shut down the Internet.

I just wanna know what Luke looks like. Hope he still has the green lightsaber.

Darth Vader wouldn't last 2 rounds in the ring against Rocky Balboa.

If they want to keep their roles a surprise, they'll probably give vague glimpses of them in the trailers. Basically saying "Yes, the gang's all back, but you'll have to wait til the film opens to see what their characters do."

Just like the Steelers didn't last 2 games with the Browns this year winning a game by 1 and getting destroyed by Hoyer in the second.

Levi, are you really trying to talk shit about the Browns right now? Steelers won the division and the Browns finished in last place in the AFCN. Your squad's biggest claim to fame right now is Manziel's Snickers' commercial.

I honestly can't imagine Disney withholding (at the least) a glimpse of the original trilogy characters for the next big trailer.

Bring it on.

@blackandyellow

Hey. That's not our only claim to fame. We also had that Kevin Costner Draft Day film last year.

And also I'll take being last considering we were 7-9 and if Manziel didn't play those 2 games, we'd be 9-7 at least.

Point is against Pittsburgh, we'd dominated y'all.

I honestly wouldn't mind if the marketing (and the movie, for that matter) focused more on the newcomers than the old guard. I get the first movie will be all about the nostalgia and stuff, but JJ Abrams has already shown what awfulness he can do when making a movie more about nostalgia rather than moving on to new things (Star Trek Into Darkness). Fingers crossed Star Wars isn't a repeat of Star Trek.

Levi, the Steelers have always played down to lower teams but could get up for good teams. It's been their modus operandi for years. That's why they lost to the Browns, Jets, and Bucs but then hung 51 pts against the Colts.

they want to "keep their roles a surprise"? whaaa? We all know they are in it....We all know who they are playing....what [frick]ing surprise? Chewie's robo arm from the concept art? Seriously would be dumb not to, even if that is the case with Chewie for instance....show a shoot of him that blocks the arm...duh...smh, I hope we see them soon....at least a few of em...

That lost y'all had to the Bucs was terrible. Straight up, I even felt mad for you guys. I mean weren't you guys home and Tampa Bay blew y'all the [frick] out? That was an ugly loss.

Bet Steeler fans were wishing Bane would come in any second and just blow up the field.

Wait, the Browns traded for the like 22 second pick. I'm sure the Vikings didn't do that well where you were picking from the final picks of the draft.

Yeah, the Bucs loss was a dark day, but I act expect the Steelers to lose to shit teams anymore. Their O is on point, and they're retooling their entire D this offseason so I'm optimistic. The Browns have no legit QB, RB, and a stud WR that's one hot piss test away from a lifetime ban. I like our chances.

They don't even have to show the OG Trio frontal.. Merely allude to them in the trailer and it will be epic..

Example.. Hammil narrates the opening and we catch glimpses of behind the back shots of each of them zooming into the background.

Like a shot of the back of Harrison Ford riling up an army.

A shot of the back of Leia while she looks upon the continuing devastation of war.

And and a shot from the back of Luke in a cave looking past the entrance into the clear blue sky

All under Williams new score.
