According to The Hollywood Reporter, Australian actress Stef Dawson (Foxfur, Wrath, and upcoming horror movie 13 Girls) has joined the cast of The Hunger Games‬: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2 as Annie Cresta, girlfriend of fellow District 4 victor Finnick Adair (Sam Claffin). I haven't read the books, but for those of you that have, does thsi seem like good casting? The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, will open Nov. 22, 2013, with Mockingjay: Part 1 hitting Nov. 21, 2014, and Mockingjay: Part 2 Nov. 20, 2015.

She wasn't my first choice, but this is one more reason for me to watch Mockingjay part one. I hope she has some lines.

why are they even making mockingjay in two films? i mean, sure, money and such
but there's not even enough material in the book as far as i've been told for two movies???

Hunger Games - introduction, semi-establishment

Catching Fire - squeezing, whipping, poisoning, demoralizing everyone

Mockingjay - POST TRAUMATIC STRESS!!!

Without spoiling anything, she's a minor character who barely says anything, and is visibly uncomfortable with everything - and Finnick is there to take care of her.

I don't think a whole lot of people really care who plays her. As far as looks go, she should be a little less attractive than Katniss, making gossipers curious about Finnick's attraction to her, as he's supposed to be this Adonis.
