Bonnie and Twill have a significant role in Catching Fire but they won't be in the film. These characters from District 8 were supposed to Spoilers: alert Katniss to the rebellion she started by defying the Capitol's autocracy but director Francis Lawrence has admitted that he's come up with another way to accomplish this.

Darius is another character in the novel that didn't make it into the film. It’s as agonizing for us to lose things from the book as it is for a fan,” says producer Nina Jacobson. “I want every single thing in there. But you know what? If you have to give up something in order to give more time to Katniss and Gale or to Effie as she starts to feel a conscience, you make the sacrifices in order to serve the characters and themes that are more essential.”

I once met The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin at a gym. They were lifting weights together. I asked them for their autographs and got them.

What does this life story have to do with anything? Nothing at all. It's pointless. Just like posting Hunger Games news on a comic book site.

As long as I get that kissing scene with Gale and Katniss out in the woods then I don't mind. I hope the ending for this is not as big as a cop out when in the ending of the film. And are they not going to feature the mayor from District 12's daughter? Because she plays a vital part in the opening.

I was excited for the first movie after reading the book. After reading the second two, I'm not excited at all.

Some thought provoking characters.

But you know what? The third and fourth movies just got a little less creepy.

I asked my wife and she informed me no one would care about losing those 3.

Let's just say that the third and fourth movies just got a little less depressing.

Agree with AlexRival. First book was good ... The next 2 bored me to tears until the very end of 3. I hope the movies cut out a lot of the droll, boring stuff.
