Watching Hercules and Xena in the nineties as a kid, great times and two fun shows.
Used to watch both with my Grandma, God Rest Her Soul, and she couldn't speak English but loved them.

@SimplyAz - Recently bought those shows, good stuff, also the prequel Young Hercules (staring Ryan Gosling), fun stuff, a good companion piece to my Buffy, Angelm Firefly collection, next thinking of getting X Files, Millennium and Long Gunmen

@dracula - 90's/ Early 2000's had some good shows. Wish I wasn't such a wuss and could have watched Xfiles, but got really freaked out when I watched that episode of the guy who could automatically catch fire.
Buffy and Angel were two solid shows as well

There's a Documentary called Millennium After the Millennium which is on Amazon Prime that you might enjoy?

BSG was part of that wave of shows that quietly ushered in the era of TV we have now. BSG, The Wire, Deadwood, Rome . . . a lot of people slept on them at the time because TV was still in that "it's a poor man's entertainment, it's not the movies" position with the public. But they were hugely influential in the paradigm shift that got us to where we are now.
Also, that atmosphere jump strategy in season 3 is STILL one of the most awe-inspiring things to grace a TV screen.

@MrCamw1 - more Titus Pulloxhill would have been nice. It really was a great series. Well due for a rewatch in it's own right.

Wish Syfy would re release the Battlestar Galactica DVDs, the slip cases are pointless and waist space and the single disks in skinny disks still take up more space than a season should why not just put them out on disks like this

wouldn't you want something like that than this

only 4 seasons and takes up more space than a 7 season show
Himura
Himura - 4/7/2020, 4:32 PM
@dracula - Except that they did

dracula
dracula - 4/7/2020, 4:39 PM
@Himura - looks like that would take up just as much space as buffy, but with less seasons. Also based on the 18 symbol on it, its not my region
Himura
Himura - 4/7/2020, 4:53 PM
@dracula - Its 7x5.5x5.5 and region free. Barely takes up any space. I should know because I own it any live in the US.

dracula - 4/7/2020, 4:56 PM
@Himura - ill look into it, thanks

For me Xena and Hercules were absolute rubbish 🤮

Battlestar Galactica on the other hand was hands down the best thing I had ever seen on television in my life (cheap CGI and meandering 3rd season aside). That show was like TV crack. I had to buy them on DVD here in Oz and the only way I could stop watching it was in the middle of an episode - it was just impossible to stop at the end of one, the cliffhangers were so nail biting.

Frackin awesome sound track from Bear McCreary too 💪🏻
