Funko has revealed a new Spider-Man: No Way Home Funko Pop, and while it doesn't put the spotlight on any characters from the movie, it should make Lady Liberty and Captain America fans very happy indeed!

Spider-Man: No Way Home made a huge alteration to an iconic New York City landmark when the Statue of Liberty was transformed into a memorial for Captain America. It may have been paying homage to Sam Wilson taking over the mantle, but it's more likely the change to Lady Liberty (which replaced her torch with Cap's shield) was meant as a tribute to Steve Rogers.

It appears the world believes the Avenger is dead, and he very well could be following the events of Avengers: Endgame. Marvel Studios has yet to reveal what became of Steve after he gave Sam his shield, with not even The Falcon and The Winter Soldier providing any real clarification.

Regardless, the overhauled landmark made for a great battleground when the three Spider-Men swung into action against the Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman, and The Lizard.

As part of Funko's New York Comic-Con reveals, the statue has now been immortalised as a Pop figure, shield and all. We'd love to know why this has been revealed before the three-pack with Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker Variants, though we're sure many of you will rush to add this to your collections!

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, by the time Spidey's battle with that sinister quintet of villains was over, the shield had crashed to the ground. As a result, it remains to be seen whether it will be restored or if the webhead will be blamed for wrecking another landmark. Either way, this is another big change that hasn't been directly referenced in any other Phase 4 projects, weirdly.

Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff Version is currently playing in theaters. Take a closer look at the newest Funko Pop for the blockbuster below:

Movie did not need the unneccessary statue of liberty makeover. All that money could have been used for a bigger more elaborate final fight instead of the quick skirmish we got. Would have preferred to see the modern teal colored version in the background anyway.

@Matchesz -
Honestly, would have preferred a better fighting location for the final battle. They really failed to utilize the statue itself, most the action is on the scaffolding. I prefer a final battle location like in Spider-man 2 or TASM2 where the fight revolves around the locatiom

@Matchesz - Totally agree. Whenever I think of a superhero fight on the Statue, i think of ASM #175. The head and torch area leave a lot to the imagination of what can be done. .

I still think the original plan was for the statue to get destroyed by the Flagsmashers in the finale of Falcon and The Winter Soldier. It would have made so much sense for them to destroy a national landmark like this and the final episode definitely felt like they hastily changed something.

I'm so confused.

Marvel wants to ignore the "blip" but then they made the "blip" actually cause America to redo the Statue of Liberty.

I still think it would've been cooler if they replaced the book with the shield and the torch with Mjolnir. The shield high up makes sense too though if it's to honor Cap
