SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Gets Official Digital & Blu-ray Release Date As Three Spider-Men Recreate THAT Meme

We've been waiting a long time for this, but Sony has finally announced Spider-Man: No Way Home's Digital and Blu-ray release dates, while sharing a behind-the-scenes photo recreating that pointing meme...

Sony Pictures has finally confirmed that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on Digital on March 22. The movie will then swing on to DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD on April 12 (in the UK, that date is a tad sooner on April 4).

To celebrate the news, the studio has finally shared an official shot of Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire suited up as their respective Spider-Man Variants. However, it's not an image from the threequel itself, but a behind-the-scenes photo recreating the "Spider-Man Pointing" meme as the three actors don their costumes for a truly iconic piece of imagery.

In our review of the movie, we wrote: "Spider-Man: No Way Home is the greatest Marvel movie ever made. Period. As epic as it is emotional, this is not only a perfect blockbuster, but Spider-Man’s wildest, funniest, and most awe-inspiring adventure yet. It's a Marvel masterpiece."

Getting to relive all those amazing moments at home promises to be a real treat for fans, and we're sure this release date news will soon be followed by a full list of special features and deleted scenes. We're also keeping everything crossed that this isn't the last piece of never-before-seen content featuring the three Spider-Men heading our way over the next couple of months!

We don't know how long Sony has been sitting on this photo, but boy, it sure was worth the wait.

@BlackBeltJones - Yeah, Garfields head looks like it's pasted on there.

I can't wait for all the BTS stuff when the digital edition drops. Hopefully rumours are true of an extended cut. 🤞🏽

Holland's suit is perfect here, why they put that shiny crap on it in the movie. urgh.

This a dope photo though. It's about to be everywhere now. I'm sure I'll be sick of it by the weekend.

@UniqNo - Basically any suit change is due to merch opportunities. Also, it kind of helped to tell them apart at the end, but really we know it's because of $$$.

@JoeInTheBox - True, but I felt we could already tell the difference from his lenses. ah well.

@UniqNo - My issue with the Gold plating was it did nothing for Spider-Man. It was just for an aesthetic. It had no function anymore. If it housed enough nano tech to make Iron Spider legs, that would have been cool. But it had no effect on him whatsoever.

So March is Batman, April is Spider-Man blu-ray and May is Dr Strange? Nice.

And Obi-Wan is in there somewhere.

@TheManWithoutFear - Moon Knight is March-April and some of May as well.

@warmachinerocks - Does this count as body shaming now that it's confirmed to not be photoshopped? 🤔

I know we technically got it in the movie itself. But seeing it like this....hell yeah. Now someone just needs to put them in the alleyway and we're good to go.

They actually recreated it in the movie too. It was fast and didn’t overly call attention to itself. It’s in the scene when they are arguing over which Peter Number they each will go by and they all are pointing at each other similar to the meme.

Toby is the older brother who’s been through lot but has some good wisdom to share to his younger siblings.

Andrew is the middle child who is the jokester and keeps the humor going to mask some real pain but wants everyone else to be happy even if he’s not.

Tom is the youngest brother who is eager to tackle the big responsibilities to show his worth. He’s light hearted and a very caring friend.
