SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Still Shows The Iron Spider In Peril; Tom Holland Recalls Doc Ock Childhood Fears

Thanks to USA Today, we have a new look at Spider-Man: No Way Home. That trailer is still nowhere to be seen, though we are anticipating it being with us a little later this month. It playing in front of Eternals seems unlikely, but Sony Pictures is bound to release it in time for Ghostbusters: Afterlife

Tom Holland, meanwhile, has admitted to a childhood fear of no-star Alfred Molina (Doctor Octopus).

"I was obsessed with Raimi's movies," Holland told Empire (via CBR). "I remember seeing Alfred in his costume for the first time, and he had the glasses on, and he was wearing his belt, which is what the legs were attached to. And I remember, as I [sic] kid, being terrified of him."

Holland would have been 8-years-old when Spider-Man 2 was released, so we're not surprised he found Doc Ock a little frightening. The fact he's now getting to share the screen with Molina is crazy, and we can't help but wonder if the villain is the cause of the predicament Spidey finds himself in here.

"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero," reads the movie's synopsis. "When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man."

Among the threequel's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Willem Dafoe are among those rumoured to appear.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to be released exclusively in theaters on December 17.
