SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME's UK Blu-ray Has No Deleted Scenes - Will U.S. Versions Also Be Lacking?

Spider-Man: No Way Home swung on to DVD and Blu-ray in the UK yesterday, but with no deleted scenes on the discs, there's some concern among fans that they'll also be absent from the upcoming U.S. version.

Ahead of its U.S. release later this month, Spider-Man: No Way Home arrived on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K in the UK yesterday. Of course, you'll already know that the blockbuster's Digital debut didn't include any deleted scenes, with the expectation being that those would be saved for physical platforms (how better to entice fans to buy the movie on Digital and Blu-ray in the space of a few weeks?).

Well, those in the UK who rushed out to nab their copies of the threequel yesterday were disappointed to discover that the deleted scenes were M.I.A. Remember, when the Blu-ray was announced, we were told that it would include five deleted scenes totalling over 15 minutes of unseen footage.

The titles of the scenes are "Interrogation Scene Extended," "Peter Day at Midtown High," "Undercroft Montage," "Happy's Very Good Lawyer," and "The Spideys Hang Out." Obviously, the latter was set to reveal more footage of the three Spider-Men meeting each other for the first time, but not a single one of these scenes were included for British fans of the web-slinger to enjoy.

It's currently unclear whether these will be on the U.S. Blu-ray, but there could be a good reason if they're not. Speculation has been running rampant for a while now that an extended cut of Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in theaters, and an additional 15 minutes of footage would be a good way to convince fans that it's worth heading back to their local multiplex to relive this adventure.

We'll be sure to keep you updated on this one as we learn more.

Oh yeah, physical media. I seem to remember not just seeing a movie, but actually touching it. You're not gonna believe me, but you could actually touch music as well. In fact you had to actually go to a building to physically buy it using slightly crumbled pieces of green paper.

Welp, time for my nap

The extras on vudu are a blooper/ gag reel, most of those videos they released on the Sony YouTube channel, and a couple other vfx videos. No deleted scenes, they are lame

Meh

Deleted scenes are usually deleted for a reason.

I almost never bother with special features and extras
