Unused SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Concept Art Takes Influence From SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN
Marvel Studios concept artist Ryan Meinerding has shared an unused costume design for Peter Parker's Spidey outfit in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and it's arguably better than the one we ended up with...
The costume Peter Parker (Tom Holland) debuted in Captain America: Civil War that we later saw in Spider-Man: Homecoming stuck to the character's classic design for the most part, with just a few minor upgrades here and there - but it seems Marvel and Sony were toying with the idea of a very different color-scheme at one point.
Ryan Meinerding shared the concept art below to his Twitter account, and as you can see, it's heavily influenced by the black and red outfit worn by Dan Slott and Ryan Stegman's divisive Superior Spider-Man.
Tell us, would you have preferred to see something like this that stood out from the previous depictions of the Wall-Crawler on the big screen, or are you glad they went with the more recognizable Spidey design? Sound off below.
