Yes I'm sure we will be getting a lot of comments about how they should switch actresses and stick Dunst in the musical! But there you are.

Evan Rachel Wood is set to play Mary Jane Watson in the Broadway edition of Spider-Man. Hollyscoop first reported the news of the casting back in December.

But then scheduling conflicts got in the way for Evan, causing her to second guess her commitment to the Broadway show. But Moviefone has just confirmed that Evan is indeed on board as Mary Jane, and has pulled out of another movie to make things work. The website reports Wood has quit Zach Snyder’s Sucker Punch.



I think Wood is a great actress and does look more like the comic version of MJ than Dunst. I may see this musical after all!

a great actress??? have you SEEN "across the universe"? that movie was absolute sh*t to begin with, but wood brought it to an entirely new low. on a scale of 1 to 10, i give her a negative 32. and nearly incalcuable lack of acting ability aside, she is simply not at all attractive. i realize i'm one of the few people who does like dunst as mj, even as a true spidey comics fan, but that doesn't factor into my distaste for evan rachel wood.

on the other hand, this whole broadway-spider-man endeavor will surely bomb, and perhaps her involvement with it will keep her from future roles.

thwip i have not seen across the universe, nor heard of it! I have seen Thirteen and The Wrestler in which Wood is great.

ROR: she's called Christina Hendricks and is in Mad Men-I have only seen clips of her in that but she is supposed to be a pretty great actress! Comic book MJ's boobs are pretty big but I think Hendricks is VERY big, lol!

LEE: i thought that the promise of more breasts would definitely get more hits on my fan cast, lol! And Jason Lewis shouldnt be Cap-he was in a freakin Maltesers ad for god's sake! And yeah, i have to admit i have a "thing" for redheads (especially ones with big knockers, hehe!)

and i'm not sure if replacing dunst is really a good idea. i thought she wasnt quite right for the role from the start, but we're already in 3 movies deep with her as mj. i dunno, i'm weird about movies switching some actors but not others. i will let ironman 2 slide since it will be awesome.

I want to see Elisha Cuthbert as mary jane, i think thats her... the blonde that was posted a bunch of times by Lee777 and Sir Prize i think that has been in a few movies already./.... didnt she play a pornstar in that Teen flick a few years back? Thwip - you're insane! Watch some of her other movies before rushing to judgment! And she's definitely cute - maybe just not your type.

BTW, why are we all married to the idea of MJ being in EVERY Spider-Man flick? In the comics, Pete dated Liz Allen, Gwen Stacy and flirted with Betty Brant, not to mention getting involved with the Black Cat. Why should he be with only one girl?

If you ask me, Hollywood(or Raimi)has tried to rush the franchise to a happy ending, which contradicts what Spidey is all about: living up to your responsibilities and never giving up!!

The alpha monster quickly dispatches the smaller one and then decides to come after Kirk.jncis A quick chase ensues including Kirk falling over an ice cliff with the clumsy alpha monster falling behind him… Getting to his feet the lucky First Officer notices an ice cave with the enraged monster in close pursuit. Briefly it appears that Kirk has outsmarted the beast as he continued to run deeper into the cave; but how quickly events change in fact NOW all is seemingly lost as the monster ejects its elongated tongues which trap Kirk’s leg drawing our protagonist ever closer to the creature’s waiting mandibles. JN0-570 All is truly lost; but wait!!!! Spock Prime is ALREADY inside the cave with a flaming torch which fortuitously scares the cowardly monster away!JN0-562 OK even if Spock Prime was outside the cave juniper certification
and simply saw Kirk run inside and thus followed him…
