It Appears As If The Stark World Expo Will Factor Into The Plot Of SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

The latest set photos & videos from Spider-Man: Homecoming drop some hints about Tony Stark's role in the movie and also feature more shots of Tom Holland looking like he's been torn out of the comics.

Spider-Man: Homecoming shooting continues in New York both day and night. The latest set photos show Spider-Man running through the streets as he seemingly tails a bad guy, though others show him apparently receiving a delivery of some sort from one of Tony Stark's drivers. Could it be a new suit after he lost the last one? Other set photos have pointed to that quite possibly being the case.

Also below are another batch of images showing Tom Holland fully suited up as the wall-crawler and striking poses which look like they've been lifted straight out of the comic books. Andrew Garfield did the same throughout his tenure as the wall-crawler, but these look a little more natural and it will be interesting to see what the transition between live-action actor and CGI stand in is like in the reboot.

However, perhaps the most intriguing thing here are the Stark World Expo posters. The last time that event was held was during Iron Man 2, and with a technology based villain like The Vulture on the loose, it wouldn't be in the least big surprising if his battle with Spider-Man ends up there. Alternatively, these could just be set dressing. TIme will tell, but share your thoughts below.

Unless i am mistaken, the dates of the Expo are much more likely to tie-in with Avengers Infinity War instead of Spider-man Homecoming... I expect the Russo's want to throw everything into the mix with a brand new Stark Expo being the opening to Avengers Infinity War.

Setting Spider-man Homecoming in 2018 would just be weird... given that most the other Marvel films have kept some sort of order in the timeline.

@Scarilian - Agreed. If Spider-Man Homecoming actually takes place in mid-late 2017, then Peter would be a junior in High School, not a sophomore like the director and producers have claimed.

I have a feeling Peter trying to find a Homecoming date will be a big plot point.

What would Tony Stark's modern real life equivalent be in terms of status? Could Tony run for president if he wanted to ala Donald Trump?
