Will SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Have A TV Spot At This Year's Super Bowl?

We know that Warner Bros. is sitting out this year's Super Bowl, but with Marvel and Sony both set to have a presence, surely we'll see something from Spider-Man: Homecoming? Find out after the jump!

While Marvel Studios is expected to show something off from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 this Sunday, it's now been confirmed by Deadline that we won't get to see anything new from Spider-Man: Homecoming. Instead, Sony has decided to bookend the big game with TV spots for Daniel Espinosa's sci-fi thriller Life. Those will air before and after the annual sporting event rather than during it.

Not only does that save the studio some cash, but it gives them the opportunity to push a movie which hasn't generated a lot of
buzz up until now. It probably should have done, though, as it stars Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal and has a screenplay by Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

When will we get our next look at Spider-Man: Homecoming? That remains to be seen, but a trailer being attached to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in May seems highly likely. It's possible we'll get a surprise during the weekend, but for now, expect Marvel to focus on those outer space A-Holes!
