Will Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield lend their voices to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse? If not in that movie, then we have to believe it will happen in the upcoming sequel, Beyond the Spider-Verse, especially if recent rumours are any indication.
During an interview with Extra TV (via Toonado.com) at CinemaCon, stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, and Issa Rae were asked if the live-action web-slingers are part of the upcoming movies.
After laughing off claims that director Kemp Powers had confirmed their roles in Across the Spider-Verse, Moore responded, "I know Hailee Steinfeld’s in it. Issa Rae is in it. Daniel Kaluuya. Jake Johnson." Steinfeld, however, added, "There’s so many [Spider-People]. There [are] some treats. This wouldn’t be what it is if there weren’t some treats."
So, we're getting some surprises, though we anticipate those being kept under wraps until the sequel is released.
