Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is now available to purchase on Digital platforms, and the first 10 minutes of the animated Spidey sequel have been officially released online.

In the opening sequence, we catch up with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) in her part of the Spider-Verse as she attempts to balance her double life as a student and superhero while coming to terms with the fact that she (inadvertently) took the life of her best friend, Peter Parker.

The final part of the trilogy, Beyond the Spider-Verse, was set for a 2024 release, but was recently taken off Sony Pictures' schedule completely, so we might be waiting quite a while to see how Miles and Gwen's story concludes.

Check out the opening scene in the player below, and let us know if you plan on watching Across the Spider-Verse on Digital.

In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

The confirmed voice cast includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Jason Schwartzman, Daniel Kaluuya, Shea Whigham, Jorma Taccone, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Brian Tyree Henry.

Big fan of the movie but disappointed they didnt fix the audio in gwens opening narration.

Its clearly not mixed well. Shes whispering and the drums are super bass heavy, but there’s truly no reason they couldnt bump her audio and reduce the drums for home release.

… and sorry, in case i didnt make it obvious: they did NOT fix the audio problems for the digital/home release.
