Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is now in theaters, and the animated sequel is jam-packed with some incredible, inventive sequences that have prompted a lot of discussion online.

Though this is really only a mild spoiler, if you haven't seen the movie yet, you're better off avoiding the details!

One of the more talked-about scenes occurs when the Spot uses his abilities to travel to a LEGO reality where he causes chaos, and that world's Peter Parker puts in a call to Miguel O'Hara to update him on the villain's location.

Preston Mutanga's, the 14-year-old behind several fan-made LEGO trailers, including one for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, name was spotted in the credits, and it turns out that he actually animated the LEGO sections of the movie.

Mutanga confirmed his involvement on social media.

In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

The confirmed voice cast includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Jason Schwartzman, Daniel Kaluuya, Shea Whigham, Jorma Taccone, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Brian Tyree Henry.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is now playing in theaters worldwide

"Animated"? You mean computer generated. The days of "animation" are over.
