We're waiting with bated breath for the new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, and the hope now is that it will be online in time for either Eternals or Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
You'll want to keep checking back here for updates, but in the meantime, we have some news that's bound to increase excitement for the Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures threequel. As rumours continue to swirl that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will return as their respective versions Variants of Peter Parker, both of their Spider-Man franchises are being re-released.
As first reported by Digital Spy, Maguire's Spider-Man trilogy and Garfield's two The Amazing Spider-Man movies will receive separate boxsets with the five films remastered in 4K Ultra HD. As you can see below, both will feature some very cool artwork of their respective logos. These go on sale November 8, just in time for Spider-Man: No Way Home's release on December 17.
Could this be a coincidence? Perhaps, but with so many reports indicating that both actors are set to suit up as Spider-Man again, we have a feeling there's definitely a reason these boxsets are being released now.
Regardless, this is a good opportunity to revisit these movies in the best possible format. We're guessing that some of you reading this might not have even been born when Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies were released (thanks for making us feel old), so if you've not seen them, now's your chance!
