SPIDER-MAN And TASM Movies Receiving New 4K Releases...Just In Time For SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME

All the Spider-Man movies are currently available on 4K Blu-ray, but two new boxsets will be released shortly before Spider-Man: No Way Home swings into theaters. Find more details on that after the jump!

We're waiting with bated breath for the new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, and the hope now is that it will be online in time for either Eternals or Ghostbusters: Afterlife

You'll want to keep checking back here for updates, but in the meantime, we have some news that's bound to increase excitement for the Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures threequel. As rumours continue to swirl that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will return as their respective versions Variants of Peter Parker, both of their Spider-Man franchises are being re-released.

As first reported by Digital Spy, Maguire's Spider-Man trilogy and Garfield's two The Amazing Spider-Man movies will receive separate boxsets with the five films remastered in 4K Ultra HD. As you can see below, both will feature some very cool artwork of their respective logos. These go on sale November 8, just in time for Spider-Man: No Way Home's release on December 17.

Could this be a coincidence? Perhaps, but with so many reports indicating that both actors are set to suit up as Spider-Man again, we have a feeling there's definitely a reason these boxsets are being released now.

Regardless, this is a good opportunity to revisit these movies in the best possible format. We're guessing that some of you reading this might not have even been born when Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies were released (thanks for making us feel old), so if you've not seen them, now's your chance!

I'm very curious to know if there are any new extras for the Raimi collection.

I had the Spider-Man 2 collector's edition DVD boxset back in the day. It even came with a reissue of The Amazing Spider-Man #50. ❤

Huh, never realized their logos are actually not that much different, Andrew's just very slightly slimmer and has straighter legs than Tobey's.

The first two are worth buying,I own every Spider-Man movie on Blu-Ray and I believe that the first two out of the five are the only ones worthy of updating to 4K.

4K will definitely help to highlight how butt-ugly TASM suit was.

I've been thinking so much lately with all the craziness of the MCU and where it's going...

I know it'll never happen, but how awesome would it be that we literally had no idea that Tobey and Andrew were in this movie, along with Cox? I know there's some people who are completely going in blind because they don't do social media and such, and man do I envy them lmao.
