Later tonight, moviegoers will get the chance to see Spider-Man: No Way Home for the first time at the world premiere. Reactions and reviews should follow soon after, and now is probably a good time to get off social media if you're worried about inadvertently stumbling across any spoilers.
This latest promo for the threequel doesn't give too much away, but it does offer some fresh shots of Jamie Foxx's Electro confronting Tom Holland's Peter Parker at the Statue of Liberty.
Spidey has clearly decided it's time for Max Dillon to go back to where he came from, but Electro has other ideas and isn't willing to leave the Marvel Cinematic Universe without a fight. This clash promises to be epic, and it definitely looks like the electrically-charged baddie has received some major upgrades.
Check out this latest Spider-Man: No Way Home sneak peek below:
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk," reads the new synopsis. "When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."
Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).
Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
