Well, it looks like the levee has finally burst. Earlier this evening, after months and months of waiting, it appears as though there was a legitimate Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer leak, which has resulted in Sony Pictures swiftly acting to remove the videos and throwing down a wide range of copyright claims.
The timing of the leak couldn't be any worse, either, as this all but confirms that the trailer will indeed debut tomorrow during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, which kickstarts around 6 PM PDT. it was, however, previously unknown whether it would actually be made available to the public - and the leak seemingly confirms that it thankfully will be, although it provides a whole new headache for the studio as they seek to contain the leak until the official launch.
The exact timing is to-be-determined, but expect it to be released online sometime before 9 PM PDT, if not shortly after. Regardless, should be a pretty long night for us on the East coast.
We won't be sharing the leaked trailer nor providing any details at this time, and strongly advise against posting any potential leaks in the comments section due to strict DMCA notices.
Tom Holland will headline the feature with a confirmed supporting cast that will consist of Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson, Angourie Rice as Betty Brant, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Hannibal Buress as Coach Wilson, Martin Starr as Mr. Harrington, J.B. Smoove as Mr. Dell, J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, Benedict Wong as Master Wong, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange; with Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina reprising their roles as Electro and Doctor Octopus, respectively, from the earlier Spider-Man films.
Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Kirsten Dunst, Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Charlie Cox have all also been rumored to reprise their roles from the previous Spider-Man movies and the Daredevil TV series, respectively, although nothing has been confirmed just yet...
Spider-Man: No Way Home is tentatively scheduled to swing into theaters worldwide on December 17.
