Spider-Man: No Way Home swung into theaters last December, and the feeling of watching the three live-action Spider-Man team up on screen is one we'll never forget.
For those of you who grew up with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies, seeing Tobey Maguire back in costume was a truly spectacular experience. Now, it's one that's been immortalised thanks to an upcoming Hot Toys action figure depicting the wall-crawler's likeness in this movie.
The Deluxe version of this 1/6th scale Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man collectable figure comes with a diorama figure base depicting Sandman. The Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Electro are all getting their own figures, but if you want to assemble the entire "Sinister Five," you'll need to get Sandman and Lizard as bases for this figure and The Amazing Spider-Man's.
As for this collectable, it features a newly developed head sculpt, a masked head sculpt, a highly-poseable body with a great range of articulation, and an astonishing recreation of Spider-Man's red and blue suit with raised silver webbing patterns.
Accessories include Sandman's cure, a Spider-Man mask, and assorted web-shooting effect parts. The Deluxe version is the only place you'll find that Sandman base, though the Special Edition will include one of Doc Ock's tentacles as a bonus.
Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff Version is set to swing into theaters this August/September, with the 15 minutes of deleted scenes that were missing from the Blu-ray (and possibly more). We obviously anticipate seeing more of the Spider-Man Variants, so fans of Maguire's wall-crawler should walk away from that extended cut happy.
As for these Hot Toys action figures, we're still hoping Spidey's new red and blue suit receives the spotlight at some point. However, its limited role in the threequel could make that unlikely.
