Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to dominate the box office, and Sony Pictures just dropped a "new" clip from the movie. This hasn't been shared online before now and gives fans the chance to relive the first meeting between the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina).
Of course, this is the first time they've crossed paths on screen, but there's clearly some history here that suggests Norman Osborn and Otto Octavius have a shared past. It's the first time we've seen them together, though, and this meeting taking place in the Sanctum Sanctorum is all sorts of crazy.
A closer look at this scene leaves us wondering just how much of what we're seeing is Norman and how much is the Goblin. There's definitely a villainous smile at one point there, anyway! Hopefully, more spoilery clips like this will be released over the coming weeks and, if that does happen, we're hoping at least one of them features the Amazing and Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Men.
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero," reads the movie's synopsis. "When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man."
Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans. The movie is now playing in theaters!
