Spider-Man: No Way Home delivered moments we could have only dreamed about before last December. Even in the midst of countless leaks, it wasn't until fans sat down in theaters that they finally got to experience three Spider-Men swinging into action together, and it was amazing.
Seeing Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker Variants team-up with Tom Holland's web-slinger was unbelievable, and the hope among fans is that they'll one day reunite on screen.
Talking to us prior to the movie's release, Holland said this about whether his predecessors inspired his take on Spider-Man in the record-breaking blockbuster. "Oh, absolutely. Absolutely, yeah. I think before I started shooting Spider-Man: No Way Home, before the first day, I had rewatched all of their movies. I think I’ve done that for all of my Spider-Man movies," he explained. "Their films are so fantastic and so rich with details that, you know, I’ve missed in the past so I go back and watch them and steal little things here and there that I love. I have definitely revisited their films."
Now, a new piece of fan art has surfaced that combines the three live-action Spider-Man costumes to create what can only be described as the ultimate Spidey suit. Using Maguire's wall-crawler as a basis, it borrows the eyes from Garfield's Amazing hero and throws in the Iron Spider logo for good measure.
We probably won't ever get to see something like this on screen, unfortunately, which is a real shame! However, if the threequel proves anything, it's that we should expect the unexpected in the MCU.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is available on Digital now and hits physical platforms on April 12.
