As we've already noted, the posters for Spider-Man: No Way Home haven't exactly been spectacular. However, with international versions beginning to swing online, we're seeing a definite improvement, and these latest efforts are certainly worthy of being your phone's wallpaper!
Rather than using any live-action photography, these artistic posters put a stylised spin on Spider-Man and Doctor Strange as they head into battle against the threequel's sinister quintet.
At this stage, Sony Pictures could drop a black poster with only Spider-Man: No Way Home's logo on it and we'd all still be psyched to watch the movie. The hype for this one is quite easily on the same level as Avengers: Endgame, and much of that can be credited to the secrecy surrounding the project (and whether two more familiar faces will return alongside those bad guys).
Check out the latest Spider-Man: No Way Home posters below:
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk," reads the new synopsis. "When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."
Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).
Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
