SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME "Trailer" Shared By Sony Pictures As They Troll Fans Demanding First Look

Fans are understandably desperate to see some footage from Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Sony Pictures has trolled them by sharing a first look at a literal " trailer" for the hotly anticipated Marvel film!

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to swing into theaters this December, but aside from a handful of unrevealing stills, we've seen next to nothing from Jon Watts' film.

There are heaps of rumors doing the rounds, and almost all of them point to Tom Holland's web-slinger taking a journey through the Marvel Multiverse and coming face-to-face with the heroes and villains from the Spider-Man franchises of the past (including Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).

The demand for a first look at some footage has become extremely vocal on social media, and the Spider-Man: No Way Home Twitter account has responded by finally sharing the "trailer."

Unfortunately, it's a literal trailer that a fan put up on the website and not any sort of real sneak peek. However, we can't help but wonder if this is leading to something official being shared by the studio. The Venom: Let There Be Carnage trailer recently landed ahead of its September release, so our first look at the Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel surely can't be too far behind.

For the time being, we'll just have to be content with this so-called "trailer" for the film. Once the real deal is released, though, here's hoping it confirms those big Multiverse rumors!

Notice how the trailer has 3 wheels at the back, signifying Tobey’s trilogy, and two wheels at the front, signifying Garfields two movies. And of course, the obvious one wheel disconnected from the main trailer attached to the truck, that signifies Holland’s Spider-Man separate from the full control of Sony, to the MCU who’s also steering and running the show now from the front.

Tobey and Andrew confirmed.

Awesome move, Sony!

Don't let some of these hard core fans try to push you around! They will survive just fine in the meantime.

@KWilly - if we learnt anything from Sony in the past, it's that to avoid any other trailer besides the first one. They're always full of spoilers.

Funny on the one hand, but on the other it looks like they're now starting active promotion. I for some reason imagine we may get an actual teaser soon. let's see.
