Somerville Goes to 'O.C'; Benitez Hears a 'Calling'
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Bonnie Somerville ("Friends") has been tapped to recur as a lawyer on Fox's new drama series "The O.C.," which premieres Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Benitez has joined the cast of another new Fox drama "Tru Calling."
"O.C.," set in the affluent world of Orange County, Calif., stars Peter Gallagher.
In addition to "The O.C.," Somerville has booked a role in Sony's sequel "Spider-Man 2." She starred on NBC's comedy "In-Laws" last season.
"Tru Calling" stars Eliza Dushku as a college graduate working the night shift at a morgue who goes back in time to save lives. Benitez will play a seasoned forensic attendant who works with her. His credits include the features "Frida," "Pinero" and "Before Night Falls."
