Just Few days ago Sony showed us the new Trailer of the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man 2, Most of us had Goosebumps after watching it. For a Few seconds even i thought that have we seen too much in terms of villains but i think this series is going good. here are few reasons why...

COSTUME
After 5 movies We finally had the Costume that looks exactly the same as we fanboys expected. in ASM it wasn't that good. but in ASM-2 i feel like this issue has been sorted out and it looks Awesome.

ELECTRO & RHINO

When we all heard about Jamie Foxx playing Electro & Paul Giamatti for Aleksei Sytsevich, Many complained:- Why Electro, why RHINO , Why Foxx or Giamatti... Now after watching trailer and especially Electro and unexpectedly he's not only looking great but Action Sequence suggests that Spidey will have a bad time confronting with a villain that has been overlooked in Comics. Now For Rhino with a Metal Giant Suits seems a good Idea and i don't feel good about Giamatti wearing a rhino-imposed suit or even a Biologically altered RHINO, hence R.H.I.N.O or whatever is it loos good.

Harry as GOBLIN is Good

Starting with Harry as green goblin Seems a Good Idea in many way as he is not original Goblin, i mean he was goblin in Comics but original is original and Norman Osborn is the main villain in ASM-Series. Norman is Injured/Ill or whatever but he will be back in future(i.e. ASM3 or AMS4), till that Harry has the Throne.

SINISTER SIX

Now We have already got Lizard, Electro, Rhino With Goblin behind all of them and We have shown the Glimpse of Suit related to DOC OCK & Vulture. Now i don't think Marc Webb will be going With Original team but we never know and I dont think Sinister Six will come before ASM-4 but building up the team needs time and Marc Webb is doing just that and Spidey Can't Win alone with These giants against him and he will need a partner(Venom Symbiote) who can help him & Lead to much awaited Venom Saga.

So these are the Main Reason which i think is enough me to Convince that Our Favorite Comic Book Character is in good Hands.

Thank You, ALL CBMers

Have a Good Day...

While I can see the flaws for the first TASM1, I feel like it was necessary to get us where we are right now. TASM2 is looking like the best Spider-Man has been in live action in any film. I trust Webb and the cast to deliver the best Spider-Man film yet with this one.

Great article. I agree with all your points. I do believe that Norman will become the Green Goblin eventually but i think it'll be different from the first Spider-man film as in the studio and Webb might go with the Ultimate design of the Goblin in which i have no problem with. It seems TASM and TASM 2 is heavily influenced by The Ultimate Spider man comic books. Electro looks similar to his Ultimate counter part so does The Rhino.

It seems like TASM 2 is trying to improve on the mistakes and some flaws that where left behind in TASM which is a good sign. The new suit looks amazing and most of the action shots are in the daytime rather than the night time.

Cool article. I think the sinister six will pop up in TASM4 and Norman will not be the mastermind behind it. It'll be the gentlemen/ man in the shadows, he is responsible for brining the S6 together and it fits perfectly with what they are trying to do. I think the last member of the sinister 6 has to be introduced in TASM3 but he'll have to be a side villain. I don't know about doc Ock and vulture being villains we only see in the S6. They need to make sure that those two get some screen time before the final formation of the sinister six. TASM2 looks like it's improving on the mistakes made by TASM which is good cause without those mistakes the movie should be fantastic and people can't complain about how the story isn't original( even though it's based off a comic book). I think Webb and Co. Are going in the right direction but, if am not satisfied with the final results and the movie overall sucks am jumping over board. The series will have 4 films In it. If the second isn't better than the first then all hope is lost, it has to improve. Just look at the iron man trilogy

The Amazing Spider-Man 4 should be the Sinister Six, and the only way Spider-Man can defeat them is by wearing the symbiote. At the end, he gets rid of the symbiote and that leads into Venom as the villain in the Amazing Spider-Man 5.

Looking forward to seeing Doctor Octopus and Vulture in the Amazing Spider-Man 3.

Good article. I agree with you that Marc Webb will not go with the original Sinister Six.

@anno yea that's what I was implying if TASM2 isn't better than TASM than it'll be a problem. IM was miles better than 2 and 3

I didnt hate TASM 1, but it definitely had some problems.

This sequel is going the opposite direction from what I hoped it would. It looks like its getting bigger, but not necessarily better or more refined.

I think the fact that there is going to be a cohesive plot, as in Oscorp is practically the driving force behind everything, it should be better. I hope it is but trailers can do wonders for films. This summer we had some fantastic trailers for some mediocre movies. All I'm saying is I'm reserving my judgement, but that doesn't mean I'm not excited. I think it's the same tone, but the trailer shows more of the lighter moments. The TASM trailers were darker than the movie itself, but there were some very light moments. It was a dark movie, just darker than The original trilogy

I hope they have Kraven, Mysterio and Scorpion (maybe Sandman too) along with the others they've shown/hinted. This could be THE Spider-Man series so I'd like them to show all the best villains they can, even if the Six aren't the classic sinister six.

I'm also looking forward to Zimmer's score after Horner's was kind of a dud.

Not a bad article.

I was not a fan of the first (unnecessary) movie. This one appears to be conceptually a lot better. The lenses are cool. The potential for another Ock and Vulture is good.

I wish they hadn't rushed to ANOTHER Goblin. Spidey has plenty of villains to choose.

And who cares whether it's the original Six. It will be more compelling seeing the one hero against a team.

In the end, I wish they'd found a better actor to play Peter.
