If everything about him is indestructible, how does he shave and cut his hair?

in the comics he uses his heat vision in the mirror. one story i read said he used a knife made from a meteor that had microscopic kryptonite particles in it, but i doubt they'd stretch that far in the first movie haha
JoeMomma29
JoeMomma29 - 4/27/2013, 1:50 PM
@ CaptainProg up that will be a minor plot hole or a funny plot hole who knows maybe he uses his heat vision off a mirror and burns it off (oh wait he is on fire in that clip)!
AlternateNo4
AlternateNo4 - 4/27/2013, 1:51 PM
but you know, whatever they say, i don't know how they'd explain how J&M cut his hair when he was a little kid.

Heat vision burns many times hotter than a star.

CaptainProg
CaptainProg - 4/27/2013, 2:37 PM
@ joeMomma29. Yeah if he uses his heat vision he should leave some scars or something on his face. But yeah I think it will remain as a plot hole and maybe they are going to skip the transition from hairy to shaved.
AlternateNo4
AlternateNo4 - 4/27/2013, 2:47 PM
i know!!! his skin has absorbed much more yellow radiation than his stubble, because it's exposed every day and the hair has just grown overnight, indoors in a dark room. SO his stubble is weak and can be burned with the heat vision, but his skin is too tough to be burned.

ha! gotta gimme a point for that one.
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 4/27/2013, 2:47 PM
Yeah, cause with all that technology in his fortress of solitude, he won't be able to do something as trivial as cutting his hair.

smh

kenjim152 - 4/27/2013, 2:50 PM
@Captainprog, guys!!!! Have u heard of láser surgery so u Dont get scars? He does not burn the skin or the hair roots, just the hair!!! How can that be a plot hole? So any time you guys shave you have the roots removed??? ~~ LOL you guys are the ones who do not make any sense!!!!!
CaptainProg
CaptainProg - 4/27/2013, 2:51 PM
@ Neo - yeah but what about when he was a kid? Answer that smarty pants :p
CaptainProg
CaptainProg - 4/27/2013, 2:56 PM
Kenjim, so you're saying that when supes uses his heat vision against zod, it will only burn his hair and not his skin? Really? Heat vision and laser are two different things aren't they?

kenjim152 - 4/27/2013, 3:03 PM
@Captainprog Duuhhh!!! I am saying all kryptonians can manipulate the intensity of their heat vision? Dont you know it? Are u sure u r into comic books? Cause its been done thousands of times, my comparison to a láser beam is because lasers can be manipulated same way to burn things in specific points such as cancer tumors without surgery and without leasing scars, meaning they burn something under the skin without damaging the skin, u really did not know that either?? Cause thats not even a comic book its real life dude

@ kenjim I can't wait your take on how are going to explain how a guy can fly without any kind of flying gear.., which I know for sure it defies the laws of physics. I'm only asking questions dude. You seem to be certain about the whole thing in this movie. Good for you!
kenjim152
kenjim152 - 4/27/2013, 3:48 PM
@Captaingprog I dunno anything about the movie or at léast as much as u do, but u aint asking u r playing smart or Maybe trolling smart, now about flying kryptonians density is different from human beings' ; have u seem astrounats in outer space? It is not against physics or any logic i guess in ur case it was against studying dude. Dont get mad just fooling around :)

It's make believe people..it is a trivial matter as to how he removes his beard.

I like the notion that the comics have put out,his heat vision can be used in various intensities to shave.

As young Clark I think it's difficult but not impossible to cut his hair using very sharp scissors/edge.

His young Kryptonian body had yet to absorb enough of yellow suns radiation to make hair impervious. As a grown man he must use heat vision.
