7 New MAN OF STEEL Images Featuring Superman, General Zod & Lois Lane

New Man Of Steel images from Entertainment Weekly's Summer Preview issue have surfaced. They include a raging General Zod (Michael Shannon), a stoic Superman (Henry Cavill) and Lois Lane in the clutches of Kryptonian villainess, Faora (Antje Traue).

Man Of Steel was directed by Zack Snyder, from a script written by Chris Nolan and David Goyer. The cast includes: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Ayelet Zurer, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Chris Meloni, Harry Lennix, Laurence Fishburne, Julian Richings and Richard Schiff. Man Of Steel flies into theaters June 14th, 2013!

I love Costner really I do. Great veteran actor. BUT NO WAY IN HELL he could get a babe like Diane Lane. JUST NO [frick]ING WAY.

It's weird. I find myself checking out Martha Kent more than I do Lois Lane for MOS lmao

Well,considering that the suit is motion captured, no matter what, it's digital, stills taken like this is just the clear reminder. But hey Shannon said it himself that the practical suit was too heavy to maneuver in so...
Still Weta and Double Negative do good effects I'm not too worried. It will probably look better in action.

The marketing is just fine, considering the movie isn't set to come out for another two months. I'd say they're starting out right on time, lest they be forced to reveal too much too quickly and peak early.

The first Superman film to have actual action and punching. I can't wait. The moment Supes throws his FIRST EVER punch tears will flow down my face and into my popcorn...then I'll be stuck eating wet popcorn the rest of the time. ^_^

@incrediblesuperbatspider- He never threw a punch. Superman 1 he never threw a punch. Superman 2 he never threw a punch. 3 and 4 I can't remember but i can't really recall him punching.

I'm talking an ACTUAL PUNCH. The retracting of the arm and making fist-to-face contact. That never occurred in a Reeve Superman film nor the Routh one either. So i stand by my earlier assessment.

I know you all are nostalgic about the Reeve Superman. But time to move on.

The fact is. 5 Superman movies in and not a single punch was thrown.

If one was thrown, my apologies in advance it obviously must not have been very memorable.

Also 5 films in and they barely even tapped into Superman's comicbook rogues gallery. But I'm sure now with Snyder/Nolan on board, for the sequels we'll get to finally see Brainiac. Hopefully down the line Darkseid. And in some smaller capacity Metallo or Parasite.

Kinda hoped Brainiac would be the baddie of this movie but we got Zod again. Hopefully in the sequel we'll get Brainiac.
