According to what's playing, although Natalie Portman might have been favourite to play Lois Lane when Darren Aronofsky was in talks to direct Superman: The Man of Steel, it would seem that another actress has her sights set on the role...who just happens to also have had a role in Black Swan!
Here's some excerpts from the sites report:
Kristina Anapau, who plays Galina in the ballet thriller sexcapade. All I know is people have got their feelers out, and though I’m not sure she’s actually met with the casting folks yet, she has definitely expressed interest. Guessing with Black Swan, the film of the moment, there’s a good chance she’ll be in with a shot.
One of the gals here at the site contacted Kristina who confirmed her interest but wouldn’t say much more than that. "Lois Lane is a great character and I’d love to do an iconic action movie along the lines of Superman at some point", says the actress.
What do you guys think about this? If Warner Bros really were considering Naalie Portman for the role, I suppose it's not too much of a stretch to imagine that they'd be looking at other actresses from the movie despite Aronofsky no longer being involved with the project.
