The nugget happens towards the end of the interview when Clint asks Mandy if she's seen the tweets from people who want her to play Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s new Superman movie.

Moviehole: Seems you’ve got some fans out there that would like to see that happen?

I'm sorry but there is only one lois lane in my book ERICA DURANCE. Nothing against Mandy moore great actress but not lois lane.

YES! I've only seen her in a handful of episodes of Scrubs, but she is not only an extremely talented and likeable actress, but hot as hell too! Worthy of an audition at the very least. Great find Galactus! (Jennifer Carpenter remains my #1 choice though)

I am pretty sure after reading superman comics for 20 years that they do draw lois lane with some curves. The most powerful man on the planet needs some curves bitchs . NO MORE 13 year old boy - flat chested - lois lanes - yes this means you Kate ( the worst lois lane ever !!) Bosworth !!!

Maybe, I'm sure there are lots of actresses and pop stars who would love that part. But Lois is tough and independent and you need an actress who can really pull that out. I wasn't fond of the last actress to play her as I felt she wasn't a tough or believable but that is just my opinion. I do like Durance on Smallville - she has sass

Mandy Moore sucks! She would be horrible as Lois Lane. Not to mention I thought they were going with a older Superman this time? Have a young Lois would screw that up. She has the body of a 12yrs old boy! Give Lois some damn curves. Make it worth coming home to at the end of the day.

Many here have said she should at least get the chance to audition and I couldnt agree more. You never know she might suprise us all and be perfect for the part but until then just chill and let what happens happen.

I like Mandy Moore, maybe its just because I think she's hot but I wouldn't mind seeing her as Lois Lane. That being said my top candidate is KATE BECKINSALE. She is... Wow... I would definitely love to see her as Lois Lane.

fine with me. there are plenty of actresses out there who could pull it off. many here have great suggestions and i think they all pull it off, including mandi moore. certainly couldnt be worse than bosworth. and i would love durance who i think is perfect for the role but she wont get it cause they wont want the smallville confusion
