POLL: Thanos Vs Darkseid!

Darkseid. I'm not counting the Infinity Gauntlet since I could equip that weapon to any character, in any poll and say they'd win. Without the weapon, Thanos is a Darkseid wannabe.

I like 'em both equally well so I really hate
comparing them! They're both a couple of the
baddest-ass, vile villains yer ever gonna see!
I think they equal-out!

I am a Marvel-Man through and through but I
like quite a bit of DC such as BATMAN & GREEN
LANTERN (Batman was the first comic I ever read!)
and I still have a luv for the BATMAN character
so I really hate comparing them at all!

I don't know why there has to be this MARVEL/DC
deadly rivalry between fans when the companies
have done tons of crossovers themselves!

Darkseid a million times over! Thanos is nothing but a damn ripoff anyway and even Darkseid said it himself when he crossed over with Thanos in the comics! He called Thanos a "pale imitation of myself"

btw- I've always been a huge fan of the New God ;)

Now if I'm to say WHY Darkseid would actually win...well I'm not a huge Marvel-fan but Thanos is actually one of the few villains from Marvel I actually like. But I would like to think that Darkseid's omega-beams alone can take out Thanos. Plus, mucht of the time Thanos seems like a baby when he doesn't get his way and just pathetically trails after Lady Death. Doesn't sound so tough to me. Now if Thanos had his inifnity gauntlet I would eat my own hat because in that comic he beat everyone and knocked Thor and Hulk like ragdolls. But since there is no inifnity gauntlet in this fight- it would go to Darkseid because he is way better and way more of a badass ;) lol

As a fan of Both these "Middle weights" heavy weights.. Being guys like Galactus, Eternity, the Source wall, etc.. Here goes.

Taking the gloves off.. aka infinity gauntlet, and Anti-life equation aside and straight out fight of wits, power and endurance this is what it comes up to..

Which one of these 2 masterminds gets to go first!

When it comes to both these two guys. They’ll only show them selves when they need to stall. Evidence of this is any comic book you have of these 2. Each of these 2 can nuke a city like child tossing a pebble to the ground.

Remember your dealing with guys that think outside of the box.... thinking about that statement I don't even think that the box is anywhere near them when they set their sites on a target.

The topic I keep reading here is Omega Beams vs. Thanos’ Enhanced fire power. (Figuratively speaking) If Thanos just sites there and takes the shots then ya Darkseid's the victor.
But when has Thanos ever sit there and take the shots like when he fought Odin. (Again stalling)

Don't forget both these guys are Immortal. Thanos can never die (Yes I have the Annihilation series) but Thanos has come back many times, and will always. He’s like a super roach.

Resource wise Darkseid has a Planet. Thanos has as Galaxy\Universe wide ragtag bunch of thugs that are countless. Numbers are endless for these two, and both can get what ever they want within a whims notice.

The only real threat to Darkseid I see is that If Thanos needs something to take care of you (some device) he makes it...Darkseid needs someone to make it for him. (Don’t read into this that they can make Comic Items) just toys like Motherbox, a belt inhibitor, etc

If this fight does go down.. My only wish is that they get a writer that can set the Tone, mood, and minds of these two powerhouses to use all their epic skills and power and not a fight like hulk vs Thing. You know the one.. two guts walk into a bar nuff said.
