"DC COMICS CHARACTER AQUAMAN RETURNS WITH HIS WIFE MERA; TOM WELLING DIRECTS AND MICHAL HOGAN (“BATTLESTAR GALACTICA”) GUEST STARS AS COL SLADE. — In an effort to protect the rest of the team, Oliver (Justin Hartley) decides to register for the Vigilante Registration Act to see what the government plans to do with the new law. As he suspected, it was a trap to lure superheroes to an undisclosed location where he is confined to a jail and subjected to a battery of brutal tests under the supervision of Col. Slade (guest star Michael Hogan, “Battlestar Galactica”)."

Sounds cool - I always liked Aquaman in the Smallville series. Also we will get to see their take on Deathstroke.

Before people get to carried away about how it does not sync up with the comics Deathstroke was a super soldier and Smallville tends to show characters before they are the recognizable versions and it does match that he is in the army.

I have enjoyed the season so far. I didnt really care for how they portrayed Deadshot but I am hoping they get him to resemble his comic counterpart later in the season.

I am looking forward to see how they handle Slade.

are people absolutely sure this is slade as in deathstroke? could just be a coincidence, otherwise they would've just simply called him Col. Wilson

no its deathstroke theyve confirmed it. and as ive said before this is the story of the early years. clark is not yet superman so it makes sense that the villians are not yet thier contemporary selves. deadshot was like he was in the beginning of his life, the cowboy guy. as was pointed out deathstroke was a soldier before he became the current mask wearing guy. it makes no sense to want them to do current versions of the villians before clark is even superman. it would be totally opposite of the purpose of the show which is to basically show the early goings on of the dc universe
