Warner Bros./DC Studios will release the first full trailer for Superman tomorrow, and director James Gunn has now shared a new theatrical poster featuring David Corenswet as the iconic DC Comics character.

We'll hopefully get a series of character posters to go with the new trailer, but for now, this latest one-sheet gives us another look at the latest big-screen Man of Steel striking one of the hero's classic poses.

We're not sure what to expect from this latest preview, but it sounds like the previous teasers only scratched the surface. In response to a fan on Threads who asked when we'll see "trailer 2.5," Gunn said: "You haven't even seen 1.0 yet - only a teaser and a sneak peek. I can't wait to show you guys the full trailer!"

Check out the poster at the link below.

Superman also stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Isabel Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Edi Gathegi and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho.

Sara Sampaio is on board as Lex's assistant/lover Eve Teschmacher, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell will play "Ma" and "Pa" Kent, and Milly Alcock's Supergirl has been confirmed to make her debut ahead of her own Woman of Tomorrow movie.

"And that’s a wrap," Gunn posted earlier this year when filming concluded. "God bless our cast and crew whose commitment, creativity, and hard work have brought this project to life. I set out to make a movie about a good man in a world that isn’t always so much. And the goodness and kindness and love I’ve encountered on a daily basis on the set has inspired me and thrust me forward when I felt too spent to move on my own.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It has been an honor. The destination has been Superman, but the journey has been the toil and the laughter and the emotions and ideas and magic we’ve shared together on set - and for that I am forever grateful."

You can check out an updated synopsis for the movie below.

"In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind."

This is the best marketing image they've released thus far.

@Nonameforme - I don’t know if I could see someone is better than Christopher Reeve. His portrayal was just that good and iconic. I think that he has the potential to be AS good. I do think that the movie will be better overall because of Gunn’s record and the fact that he is a true fan as well.

Cannot wait for that new trailer. Sinners is easily my favorite movie of the year, hoping this and the new F4 join the ranks.

Prefer a different neckline and more and more he looks like Brendan Fraser to me but overall I like the picture.

@epc1122 - I honestly like the collar but not the lines though I can deal with it.

Also he definitely resembles Brendan Fraser.

@TheVisionary25 - the collar has def grown k me but i wouldn’t say I completely like it. I’d also prefer it if the cape is draped over the shoulders rather than the way it looks now, if that makes sense. I think it looks more regal. For awhile Brendan Fraser was in contention to play Superman, go figure.

@epc1122 - fair enough

I like the colllar and the cape as it is but to each their own

@TheVisionary25 - I actually just meant in this picture. Normally the cape isn’t draped so much to the back.

Hoping this trailer is very Superman heavy and shows him doing heroic inspiring stuff. Less about the supporting cast, him getting beat up, and Krypto. Give us something inspiring and hopeful.

A wonderful poster. Still love the first one a little more, but David really has the Superman look in this one.
