I completely forgot to post this here for anyone that may have been interested! Here's a look behind the scenes at some of the films and procedures used to create the Funeral for a Friend vid I posted a while back.

As you watch, if anyone has any tips on how to improve or speed up the editing process I'll gladly listen, I want this to look as good as possible.

Amazing. I can't believe I actually like Brandon Routh as Superman after this.

Please DC, look at this!!!!! This is what we want, something like this, a great movie with fighting and cool cameos. Very nice!

@Twenty23Three... thanks dude, I made that little OA easter egg as ambiguous as I could: "... response from OA" could be read as... "NO response from OA" or "AWAITING response from OA" or "RECEIVED response from OA".

Since it was before Green Lantern came out, I wasn't sure if I wanted to include him. I'm still not! I'm leaning towards playing out the arc with the core 3 members first without throwing in other JLA members from left field. But we'll see what happens once I start gathering clips for the next vid!

@Tenaciousbt... awesome! That was the whole reason why I even started this project! To say that they could've kept Routh and turned things around after Superman Returns with a better story and a villain to fight

@ jazzman... Isn't Marvel making everything we want to see already! I can't wait for Avengers!

Great stuff! Both your fan films and this behind the scenes work. Looking forward to more.
I agree they could've kept Routh, used SR as a jumping off point and continued the story. Distancing from the Donner vision in the process. IMO this was doomed by the presence of the boy (where would you go with that?). And Bosworth just wasn't right for Lane. Nice choice in Beckinsale!

Also, you've made me rethink the possibility of Nolan's Batman existing in a world with other superheroes. It could work...

@hatrick3 - Well if it were up to me, at some point in the sequel during the major conflict I would have had Doomsday or whichever villain, kill off the boy in dramatic fashion with Superman battered and unable to save him. It's the perfect way to really add depth and drama to the story and Superman's character. It would reinforce motivations, increases the threat level the audience feels and we could see Superman truly unleash his rage and power. And at the end he would still lose, making it even better! If it followed the Star Wars formula by having the good guy win in the first, the bad guy win in the second with a major cliffhanger, and then the good guy comes back with a triumphant win in the 3rd, it would've been such a great trilogy.

but oh well LOL

NICE job! I like what you did with Lex. That is exactly how he should have been portrayed in the damn SR film. He should have been a corrupt CEO. Not a petty land-grabber.

You also did a nice job with Clark and Bruce in the same scene. But i hate Routh. lol

Overall, really nice job on the video.
