Warner Bros. May Now Be Looking To Cast BLACK PANTHER's Michael B. Jordan As SUPERMAN
Coming off the shocking news that Henry Cavill has parted ways with the role of Superman, a new report suggests that the studio may be looking to replace him with Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan...
We just found out that Henry Cavill will not be reprising the role of Clark Kent/Superman in Warner Bros.' DC Films Universe, and now we have an update relating to the actor the studio may want to see take over as The Man of Steel at some point in the future.
According to Deadline, WB is "considering casting Michael B. Jordan in the role down the road."
This is basically a throwaway line in the trade's report on Cavill departing the role, so we're not sure how seriously to take it just yet. It could be that the highly in-demand actor's name was simply bandied about as a possibility during discussions about the new direction the studio plans to take the character.
Even if Jordan is on WB's radar, don't expect any kind of announcements or updates any time soon, as we still haven't had offcial word on the Cavill situation yet.
Tell us, do you think Jordan would be a good pick to replace Henry Cavill as Superman? Drop us a comment in the usual place.
